Tucked away together in their own corner of the gardens, our two handcrafted Plankbridge Shepherd’s Huts offer a distinctive adults-only stay near Estepona, combining traditional British craftsmanship with the relaxed outdoor lifestyle of southern Spain.
Both huts were custom-built for La Piña Verde in the UK by Plankbridge, specialist makers of luxury shepherd’s huts whose commissions have included a hut for King Charles III when he was Prince of Wales. The two huts share their own peaceful garden area, beneath a Bottlebrush tree illuminated with fairy lights in the evening and looking towards our rare El Galli tree.
Inside, natural wood finishes and carefully chosen details create a warm, intimate space centred around an elevated Super King bed. Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and connect the interior with the surrounding gardens.
Each hut has its own en-suite bathroom with a spacious rainfall shower, together with air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary toiletries — the comforts of a boutique B&B within the character of a traditional shepherd’s hut.
Designed particularly for couples looking for something a little different, the huts offer a secluded garden setting with the swimming pool nearby, while Estepona Old Town and the wider Costa del Sol remain within easy reach.
